Band Concerts

This is the Winter Band Concert. Brody plays the Tenor Sax. He always sits in the middle, so we never get good pictures of him.
Another of Picture of the top of Brody's head at the concert. Brody plays in both the Concert Band and the Jazz Band.

Braydn is the one in the middle. He is waiting his turn for the 8th graders to perform at the Band Concert. Braydn played the flute up until this year when he switched over to the Tenor Sax.

Braydn still waiting. He sits in the back also so we only get good pictures when they are waiting to go on stage.

Middle Piney

This is Lacy. She had so much fun playing on the lake that was frozen and snow covered that she wore herself out. She got packed in and packed out of Middle Piney Lake.
This is Meagan. You can see how much fun she had!

Brooke and Kadin. Obviously it was a quiet ride home! Cameron and Wyatt are in the back, but they still have energy!

Brian let Marissa drive on the way home. She had just gotten her permit before they came to Wyoming for the Thanksgiving weekend.

Thanksgiving 2009

Brian took the cousins up and hiked into Middle Piney over Thanksgiving. They got a surprise of snow, but nothing they couldn't walk thru. They had fun shooting the guns once they got up to the lake. It's about a 2 mile hike.
This was another pose of everybody. They all had fun, but some of the littler ones had to be packed in and out.

This is the parking area at Middle Piney.

This is one of the hills at Middle Piney. When there is more snow, it makes a fun hill to climb on the snow machines.

Braydn & Carson being bored

This is Braydn inside the tire. Him & Carson were out playing one night and decided to push each other down the street inside the tire. Carson is pushing him. Braydn tried to stop himself and the tire tipped over on him and pinned his leg under the tire until Carson could lift it off of him! No trips to the E.R. ! Thanks Goodness!!

Kelton's Famous Artwork

Our neighborhood got some new curb and gutter in September. Kelton couldn't stand the thought of fresh cement without any artwork in it, so he helped the city out. Apparently the Construction Company Owner was pretty upset over Kelton's drawings, but the mayor of Big Piney didn't think it was a big deal. We thought we might have to buy the city new cement, but we ended up not having to. The construction company fixed Kelton's art so it isn't visible anymore! We had a big discussion about getting permission before we write in other people's cement. It has become a joke now with Kelton when there is fresh cement.

This is Kelton's scooter track. (The sections of cement are 5 feet each.) This went thru 2 1/2 sections.
This was in front of his primary teacher's house. She thought it was pretty special and laughed when she seen it.

This piece was across the street in front of the Baptist Church. Thought he was pretty thoughtful. He also has his footprint in the cement a few inches to the left.

This is a view of Jackson Lake. Some of the Brian's scenery everyday.
This is another view of Jackson Lake. This one isn't as clear because we were driving down the road.

This is Brian in Kadin's Batman mask. He wore it for a few minutes driving his truck on the jobsite.
We were lucky enough for Brian to get a job with H&K Contractors in Yellowstone/Grand Teton Park this fall. He worked for 6 weeks and we got to go up and spend a couple of days with him.(Only because we had doctor's appointments in Jackson). We had a lot of fun while we were there. I took the kids to the second hand stores and shopped for our costumes for Halloween. Brian decided to be funny and put Kadin's mask on as we drove past the paver machine. They all laughed and gave him the thumbs up. I am sure they thought he was a little strange! It was fun to go to work with him and see some of the scenery he got to see everyday. People see an animal and stop in the middle of the road, not caring as to who or what is behind them. It's definately Kodak Moments that cause accidents in Yellowstone.

The snow doesn't even stop football games here! They just scrape the field off and play. This was actually practice. They had a game 3 days after it snowed!
This is how much snow we got over night. It was unusual for this much snow for October. We ended up with 12 inches of snow.

This is a picture looking West from the High School Parking lot. The pathway on the left is a walking path with the trees weighted down with the heavy snow.

We got an early snow in October. It was a freezing rain and then snow on top of it.
